Your next role as a Miracle Maker
Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Operations Intern. The Manufacturing Operations Intern will have the opportunity to work on a project to improve the quality of incoming materials, ensuring consistent supply and a high level of quality. The intern will help create a more robust process for incoming raw materials (RM) from existing, new supplier and second source suppliers. This will be achieved by Revisit completed areas to date and progress thru establishing Material Specification documents for Cygnus products. Identify gaps, make recommendations working across stakeholders Operations, Procurement and QA.
Project Milestones:
- Review current NetSuite information for materials (RM) and associated records.
- Assess and prioritize RM for critical vs non-critical materials.
- Review Supplier provided or internal Certificate of Analysis and related documentation for recent lots.
- Assess content for critical vs non-critical attributes.
- Draft Material Specification forms and coordinate review/feedback from internal stakeholders.
- Finalize and release Material Specifications.
- Present on the project and results to peers, the team and members of leadership.
The skills and experience that you will bring:
- Must be pursing an undergraduate degree, currently in the Junior year or first semester of senior year. Preferred areas of study are Biology, Chemistry, or other related life science discipline.
- Ability to collect and analyze data.
- Proficiency with excel.
- Ability to read and write in English.
The Summer Internship Program is a 9 week program beginning on June 17, 2024 through August 16, 2024.
