SHIFT: PART-TIME (7am-12p, Mon-Fri) can be flexible


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Participate in training, embrace concepts of and actively practice the STOP Safety Program fundamentals to aid American Packaging Corporation's efforts to achieve a zero-accident rate. Adhere to all company safety guidelines.
  • Prep New Job Review Meetings and coordinate list of daily review. Job folder prep, engravers proof, GMG and copy overlay
  • Gather Job folders after new jobs have run the first time. Collet all samples and file as needed. Make sure folder has updated standard and CMI is update on the system. Return job folder to each facility and file in numeric order.
  • Update Customer profile when standards are sent back with approval.
  • Gather best color samples and cut all samples. Specific number of books per customer requirements in a presentable format. Standard books for graphics and manufacturing created and filed away. Extra samples/tone blocks cut and saved.
  • Read all line colors on best color samples to targets in x-rite. Provide printouts of any color over 2de for disposition.
  • Prep cover letters and Mail swatches / standards to customers for approval.
  • Create line color folder swatches on all new colors.
  • Keep line color folders up to date with new samples. In Graphics, Columbus and Deforest QA locations.
  • Provide material and GMG for post-production review.
  • Prep full repeat samples for customers for graphics review as needed.
  • Deaden APC specs. All color STDS are archived. Job folders are pulled off rack and material archived.
  • Update New Formulas in SPEC with the m-spec and engraving.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum two years training towards a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, three years related work experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Salary Description
$22.83/hr.
